Comments: Immediately on starting we climbed the steep hill behind Villa Maria to a point where no hasher had ever been before. We followed a narrow track between two hills, which was taking us farther into the mountains and a fair bit of confusion when we lost the trail for ten minutes or so. The hare with some help from Proposition eventually got things going again and the pack then got to a ridge looking deep down into a valley with the Porac River snaking along its length. It took some time to get down to the river where we had lunch beside a pleasant swimming hole. We set off down the river passing barrio New Balukbuk and making a detour into Brgy Hacienda Dolores for some beers and cokes at Rosario’s store. At some point on this part of the trail Armpit and Proposition got themselves lost but managed to get to the finish at Porac town bridge before the rest of us did.
