Comments: Back to the Gumain River to see what it looks like farther upstream. Saput carried Bananitas over the first couple of crossings then had to give up the Sir Galahad bit when he started feeling his age. There were a lot of Aeta’s about, kids playing, clothes being washed and men fishing with small hand made spear gun contraptions. They all lived in barrio Pasbul on the high ridge on the northern side of the river. We just got as far upstream as our high point of two weeks ago. If we want to get nearer the foot of Mt Negron we will have to start earlier or walk a helluva lot faster.
