Comments: Single Malt, with just a wee bit o help fay his friends, laid out a reasonably good hike. Starting out on the San Nicolas valley road to Mainang we got on to the ridge overlooking both Dap Dap and Bamban eventually reaching the outskirts of Dap Dap at  San Roque. Next port of call, Kalangitan. The garbage landfill that was never going to be allowed to happen is nearly complete, one whole valley having been bulldozed flat. A two lane bailey bridge is ready for installing over the local stream prior to accommodating a daily convoy of Overloaded ten wheel trucks from Manila or wherever. Such is progress. A farther seven kilometres saw us at the Death March Memorial near Capas town for the end of the walk.
