Comments: We made the long trip to Patling so as to do some exploring over on the western side of the O’Donnell River. It was a success as far as the good things in hiking goes, wet feet from cris-crossing an O’Donnell tributary, aching muscles after climbing a seemingly never ending trail to the top of a reasonably high ridge. The view from the ridge told us that there was plenty of scope for more hikes in this area. We Shall Return.
