Comments: As the time and distance shows, this was just a lazy day out doing the tourist thing. First port of call was Echo Valley with its amazing collection of hanging coffins. We followed the underground river, it was visual now and again through cracks and small cave like holes in the rocks, upstream a little to the huge cavern where it emerged from the hillside. We then wandered through the Sagada pine forest for an hour before we eventually found our next destination, the Kiltepan tower. Alas it was no more, just four concrete stumps showing where it had been. Never mind the views down into the valley of Barrio Tetepan and its rice paddies were stunning. Next we went looking for the Bokong Waterfall and this was a bit of a disappointment because we were looking for something a little bit more spectacular. Anyway we renamed this waterfall as “Poodle’s Piddle”. Then it was a mere forty minutes back to the main plaza in Sagada for our customary cold ones.
