Comments: The hare went out of his way to explore new territory finding exciting scenic trails and nobody came out to play. Oh well the stay at homes (probably watching the sleep inducing Amazing Race on TV) missed a good day out. It took an hour of messing about to get into our targeted valley and then it was well worth the effort. The stream that we cris-crossed numerous times is a tributary to the Bangut river. We left the stream at the small settlement of Maligaya, where Sip Sip handed out a load of vitamin tablets to two Aeta ladies, to cross over a ridge down into the much larger barrio of Maruglo. A couple of cold drinks here and then we followed a vehicular road going parallel to the O’Donnell River taking us to our favourite sari store in Sta Juliana.
