Comments:
In
the remote region of San Ramon heading towards Nabuklod and
other neighbouring barrios lay a trail to the road less traveled, perhaps
this being the reason we experienced uncounted on backs. As we glide down
under to the misty river and discover a resting place, a shelter from the
volcanic ash that exists to give her visitor comfort, that is natures way of
thanking those who accepted her invitation. The place was immaculate. After
enjoying her masterpiece Bananitas engraved our epitaph on the rock as a
sign of gratitude to Mother Nature before departing. (Maybe a wee bit
naughty I think. S.M.) On our way up we met the two certified
impaired legs slithering down to have a glimpse of the ambience we enjoyed
on the middle ground. Emerging slowly we have a ciao to every Aeta we meet
and decipher how the name Nabuklod came to be. The day still young the human
Atlas would like to explore more on every possible turn off, which was
usually a dead end. This was a great day to make a detour. Feeling intense
disappointment because of his unfinished task which was to circum-navigate
Nabuklod our navigator finally decided to find the way to the finish which
was a trail we missed on hike one four nine. Our driver, Boy, had been
instructed by Sip Sip to scout for a store and load some drinks into their
fridge ready for instant consumption and Morales Store did us proud.
