Comments: A superb hike on the northern slopes of Mt Baclayan from our first time on MAH3 hare, Walrus. We started up the hill on the Ponderosa Golf Course trail before veering eastwards on a great narrow jungle trail, passing copra pits, abandoned shacks, pigs in shit heaven, dodgy gullies and mysterious red markings, towards the Puerto Galera water supply tank. We then thundered down the hill, past Bankok, and on to the main road into Puerto Galera and the Walrus’s favourite Videoke Bar. Thank goodness nobody picked up the microphone.
