On Home:        Waiting Shed, Puerto Galera Road

On On Home:  Capt’n Gregg’s, Sabang

Comments: Left Sabang on the state of art, soon to be completed (within the next ten years is soon over here) semi-concreted road to PG. Over a tree shaded ridge into Palangan then a drowsy kind of walk along Encenada Beach crouching under scattered mangrove scrub before entering Puerto Galera. On to Tabinay and one of the steep trails up to Baclayan and the water tank where our thoughtful hare had set up a welcoming cold drink stop. The second leg of the hike was all downhill but nice and gradual given plenty of time to take in all differing scenic views.
