Comments: Shit Shoveller turned up today to start training for his Angeles-Subic walk. Well he sure picked a good one. Straight into the very steep climb up to Villa Maria’s southern ridge, down into the narrow valley on the other side, a rest and a bite to eat then up, up and up to Dias where a suitably clapped out S.S. just keeled over and said that was more than enough. Great fun. There we met the nice, friendly Maria Elena Rufin the teacher who looks after the schooling of the Dias kids. Then it was down the Dias ridge, over the Expressway and into Porac.
