territory from the start to Malamoglamog via Masawansawan, two Aeta
settlements obviously named by an Irishman who says everything twice
‘to be sure, to be sure’. Wandering through a large tract of bamboo
jungle after our lunch stop at Dalayap Miss Bingi asked some Aeta’s
if it was alright to go past their small house. No problem they said
‘we know you come here every year’ and at the Pitalbo Store the
young lad tending shop, or rather doing a barman’s job for us, said
where have you been for the past year. It’s nice to be remembered
for the right reasons.
