Comments: I got well and truly lumbered with the scribes job today because nobody else by all accounts knew where the hell we had been all day. First of all I was nearly kicked down some bloody great hole in the middle of nowhere, a big arrow pointing down into it saying ‘Yamashito Gold Inc’. Seemingly these Yamashito people have these holes all over Luzon so obviously they have a thriving business on going. We padded about up and over a few hills before we realized our time was running out and we were a long way from our transport so it was a forced march along miles of concrete until we arrived at our jeepney well into darkness. Being relatively new to this sort of thing may I suggest that the starting time could be earlier, say about ten in the morning, so that we never finish in the dark again. Now that I have finished this write up I am just going to crawl under my master’s jeep for a nice safe sleep. Taily…..
