Telegraph Hill was the name
given by Teutonic Turd
to the mini mountain outside of Olongapo
that hosts numerous transmission towers but which is called Mt Kabalan
by the locals. It is an easy one hour walk from Tipo up to the six
hundred metre high summit. Not so easy if you want to return by a
different route. On our way back to the highway we encountered a one
kilometre tunnel trail where the scrub formed an arching canopy forcing
us into a hunched over waddling duck walk, a nosey herd of
cattle that got to close for the comfort of
some and the inevitable on backs into bamboo trees and other sorts of
nonsense.
