Comments: Started up onto the ridge east of Tabinay with a small drizzle being a bit of a nuisance but got caught in a huge twenty minute deluge on an exposed part of the ridge. Hit a substantial on back, a well used trail luring us into an eventual dead end where we met up with some of our squiggly, creepy crawly Puerto Galera adversaries, the dreaded leech’s. Everyone and the dog got hit by them including one who found a solitary leech feasting on his crown jewels, no name mentioned of course but he sure could do with some spin doctoring. The rain had made the trails extremely slippery and it was much more difficult and time consuming going back down to Tabinay, a couple of us crashing on to our backs, this scribbler finding himself horizontal twice. Plenty of cold beer at Tina’s, the five of us polishing off a whole crate of San Miguel.
