Comments: We decided it was time to stroll up our namesake, Mt Arayat. It took us just over one hour to reach White Rock which offered great views over Angeles, Clark and Bamban. Then it was up the remaining third of the mountain to the transmitter on the Summit that is guarded by a friendly group of PNP Scouts. This also offered a magnificent view northwards over the Pampanga Plains and the giant Pampanga river snaking all over the place trying to find a way to the sea. It was then back down to Ayala, individual groups taking their own time to get back.
