Comments: A great start to today’s hike when Crispin shat on the floor of the BOP. We left Malasa,     three kilometres west of Dap Dap, and walked uphill another three kilometres to the small Aeta cemetery overlooking some scenic valleys and ridges. We then followed the ridge northwards until we were looking down on both the Bangut and O’Donnell rivers. Taking a narrow trail down past cultivated land, an Aeta community and a small stream we eventually reached the Bangut. Along the shallow river for four kilometres passing through the Aeta village where we had stopped for lunch on Hike 32. Westwards now for four more kilometres passing Patling cemetery, resting place of U.S. missionary “Apo” Walker. Then a jeepney and bus journey back to Angeles for a few cold beers.
