Comments: When CCC failed to show up before 11 a.m. we decided to try Mt Arayat ‘just for a change’. This tribute to our namesake mountain proved to be serendipitous, as we found what seemed to be a new trail to the top but time constraints and rain clouds turned us back. The walk was pleasant, through farms and rainforest and no doubt the subject of more investigation in the future. I.M.
